Version 1.0.8 brings a fresh look for KeyBid: a new design across the whole app, property cards with large photos, the estimated yearly income and occupancy in every property’s details, and contacts that appear the moment you unlock them. The update covers all four roles: owners, property managers, cleaning companies and maintenance pros. Below you will find what has changed, what each role sees, how unlocking works now and how to install the new version on Android, iPhone and iPad.
What has changed in version 1.0.8
The update does not change how the platform works: KeyBid connects short-term rental owners with property managers and with cleaning and maintenance pros, and one credit unlocks one profile or one property’s contact. What changes is how you find information and how quickly you get to it.

What each role sees
The role you choose at registration decides what you see in the app and who can find you. All four roles have the new design.
Owners
- You find property managers in your city. Each profile shows their years of experience, how many properties they manage, how they prefer to work (commission or a fixed fee) and the services they offer.
- You find cleaning and maintenance pros for your property in the “Services” tab.
- You add your properties with photos and facilities, so managers and pros can find you.
- In your “Profile” you see an estimate of what your properties could earn in a year.
Property managers and co-hosts
- You browse short-term rental properties with photos, the property type and the estimated yearly income.
- You open a property to see its facilities, the estimated occupancy in its city and how the owner wants to work.
- You unlock the owner’s phone number and email with one credit.
- You find cleaning and maintenance pros for the properties you manage.
Cleaning companies and maintenance pros
- You see properties that need cleaning or maintenance, each with an estimate of the yearly income it could bring you.
- You contact owners directly once you have unlocked their contact.
- You connect with property managers and co-hosts who look after several properties.
On the website you will also find the pages for cleaning companies and for maintenance pros. You can create your account in the app or on the website, with the right role: owner, manager, cleaning or maintenance.
Unlocking in version 1.0.8
The credit model stays the same: one credit unlocks one profile or one property’s contact, and credits come in packs you buy in the app. You see the price of each pack on the App Store or Google Play before you confirm the payment.
What changes in 1.0.8 is what happens after you unlock:
- The contact appears straight away. The phone number and email show up on the spot.
- New contacts are highlighted. In “Unlocked”, the contacts you have just unlocked stand out from the older ones.
- The contact stays saved. You can find it in “Unlocked” at any time, so you never pay twice for the same contact.
- Your credits are in your “Profile”. Your plan and remaining credits now sit in the same card.

The assistant and notifications
The app has a built-in KeyBid assistant that answers questions about the platform in seconds, for example how to find a manager for your property or where to find your unlocked contacts. You also get a notification when someone unlocks your contact. Since version 1.0.8, notifications also appear inside the app while you are using it.
How to use the estimates in the app
The estimated yearly income and the estimated occupancy for the city are a starting point, not a guarantee: the real result depends on the property, the price and how it is managed. Use them to pick out the properties worth a conversation more quickly, then check the numbers:
- If you are a manager or a service company, ask the owner for the real figures: how many nights the property was booked over the last year and at what rates.
- If you are an owner, compare the estimate in your “Profile” with the booking history of your listings on Airbnb or Booking.com.

How to install the update
On iPhone and iPad, apps from the App Store update automatically by default. If you want to install version 1.0.8 manually, or the update has not started on its own, follow the steps below.
On Android:
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap the profile icon at the top right.
- Tap “Manage apps & device”.
- Under “Updates available”, tap “See details”, then “Update” next to KeyBid.
On iPhone and iPad:
- Open the App Store and tap the “My Account” button or your photo at the top of the screen.
- Tap “App Updates”.
- Tap “Update” next to KeyBid.
On 14 October 2026, Google Play already showed version 1.0.8 (updated on 13 October), while the App Store still showed version 1.0.7. Apple reviews every update before it appears on the App Store; according to Apple, 90% of submissions are typically reviewed in less than 48 hours. If you do not see the update on your iPhone yet, check the KeyBid page on the App Store again over the next few days.
The update does not change your account: you keep the same email and password as on the website, and your properties, credits and unlocked contacts stay the same.

Do I need a new account after the update?
No. You keep the same account, and your properties, credits and unlocked contacts are not lost.
When will version 1.0.8 reach my iPhone?
Once Apple approves the update and it appears on the App Store. Apps from the App Store update automatically by default, and if you do not want to wait, you can install it manually from “App Updates”.
Where do I find my unlocked contacts?
In the “Unlocked” tab. Every contact you have unlocked stays there, and new ones are highlighted, so you can easily tell them apart from older ones.
What does the estimated occupancy for the city mean?
It is an estimate for the city where the property is located, not for that specific property. It shows you the market context; the real result depends on the property, the price and how it is managed.
